Like if you sell life insurance do you have any crazy stories of sometime taking a policy out in someone who “dies suddenly” I mysterious circumstances?
Did your transaction get subpoenaed? Did you have to testify in court?

I sell life and health and everyone loves the make the life insurance joke.
I watch True Crime and it's crazy how many people are killed over life insurance money.
This one lady would not take a policy out over 50k I think it was, on relatives. She would take out whole life policys for 30-50k because if someone died, it would not spark an investigation.

I was wondering because that crazy story about the woman in Utah who poisoned her husband and then wrote a children’s book about grief.
She apparently took out some large policies on him. That story made the national radar mostly because she wrote the book, but it made me wonder how much it happens but doesn’t catch national media attention due to other extraneous circumstances around the situation.

I used to sell life insurance through the shitty finance company I worked at.
Small policies, but we got some fair commission off of them.
Because it was a shitty finance company, and just about everyone who worked there was unscrupulous, we'd normally just add the cost of the policy to their loan amount, and wouldn't say anything about it unless the customer asked (which rarely happened. We weren't dealing the best and brightest, and most people were desperate enough that they'd sign whatever document we put in front of them.)
It actually wound up helping a good bit of people after Katrina who lost loved ones, and didn't realize they had insurance anywhere.

I sell health and life now. But, when I was lending, one of my borrowers burned down his $2 million dollar home. Just so happens that the wife and kids were at the vacation home in Florida when it occurred. He claimed masked bandits tied him up and burned down his house. The feds got involved because they weren't buying his story. The guy was an atty and should have known better. Would not confess. Went to trial, I had to testify. fricker got 10 years

What was his motivation? Was he in financial arrears and needed the money? Or was he just a conman by nature?

I speak to crazy people all day every day.
One guy accused me of being an alien and refused to give me any of his health information. He was 100% serious and convinced I was an alien.
Occasionally I’ll get told “just because I smoke doesn’t mean I’m unhealthy”. Yes. Yes it does mean you’re unhealthy. Your lungs are shite whether you think so or not.
I have had the recording of one of my calls submitted over as evidence in a murder for hire trial but I was never personally subpoenaed and I have no idea what the outcome of the trial was.
