This game is going to be a battle. I hope our players and coaches aren't as overconfident as the rantards or we will be in trouble. With that said, I think last week will serve as a wake up call and we will show up ready to play. But that won't make it any easier. My prediction...

LSU 34
Ole Miss 33

Sound like ULL fans.

Look at 1997: LSU beat No. 1 Florida, and then gets beaten by Ole Miss. By this warped logic, Ole Miss was better than Florida.

exactly....it's warped but it also makes sense to think that ole miss could beat lsu by two touchdowns are more....lsu has not shown any consistancy this year which was proven again more than ever in the troy game ...wasnt trying to say that ole miss would beat us just because they beat florida...but that seemed to fly over everyone's head...

I think they might be right considering our stout defense.

And our QB's tendency to throw the other team touchdowns.

We are still LSU and they are still Ole Piss, Ill give them Lee's normal pick six to the other team, Ill go, 42 - 21.

I'm well aware Ole Miss can beat LSU. However, them no longer having Coach Yaw Yaw somehow takes some of the fun out of the game.

Ole Miss always brings their A-game to LSU. If Lee throws more than one pick-6, we have a very strong chance of going 8 and 4 this year, and somebody's head may be on the chopping block.

LSU 41
Ole Miss 10

Ole Miss has the WORST defense we have faced all year. Not only will they not get a pick 6, they won't get to picked nose, because Chuck Scott gonna steamroll and break some facemasks.

Other thoughts:
- Lee will also pass for ~200 yards WITHOUT a pick 6.
- Byrd will catch a touchdown pass and get a celebration penalty showing us why he is rated as the team's best dancer.

2 touchdowns, I doubt it.

H Nutt>DV
Sneed>our inconsistent QB play.

31-27 Tigers.

Come on I would never pick those cock suckers over Our Damn Strong football Team.

Ole Miss held Alabama's ground game to 107 in Tuscalooser.

Ole Miss' front seven = really good. Secondary = poor.

Jarrett Lee will determine the outcome of the game.

Yes Ole Miss fans are serious. If you will look at the stats these 2 teams are very close. Talent is also a lot closer than any LSU fan would like to admit. Should be a great game. I'll be there with my red pants on. Tell your guys those purple pants are gay. GTHLSU.

Edit: And its mainly because LSU is down this year not because we are so "up". If that makes sense.
Well we may be down this year, but if Ole Miss is being put in the same category as we are (which is definitely reasonable this year) you are most certainly "UP". If Ole Miss is equal to LSU we are down AND you are up from where you were last year and if you don't think that Ole Miss is UP for this game you are kidding yourself. That just goes to define the disparity in our two programs. Ole Miss will treat this like their National Championship game as far as motivation. We are the "Giant" and Ole Miss is the "David".

then Colonel Reb will be crying in his confederate hankerchief.
Well, he's had a lot of practice doing that the last 5 years, so my bet is that Colonel Reb will be boohooing all the way back to Oxfart.

One thing is for sure, I have never met a man who wears purple pants that was not a little light in his loafers, not that there is anything wrong with that.
