Here's the deal. The total was $500 million. However instead of just releasing the money to the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine for them to distribute to their best buddy contractors Trump purchased $500 million in stinger missiles from Raytheon. The U.S. Embassy in Ukraine was PISSED. They couldn't distribute the money to their buddies.

Trump bought a half a billion dollars in weapons and sent to Ukraine to fight Russians??

If Trump just buys stinger missiles from Raytheon and gives them to Ukraine to defend themselves against Russian tanks how do you expect these NGOs to produce their VERY IMPORTANT white papers? They have to eat too.

Why did trump send stinger missiles to Ukraine?

*From Raytheon*

I have no problem with him doing that instead of just sending straight cash, but it could easily be pointed out that he simply hooked up his MIC establishment buddies instead of hooking up the embassy.
