I have been thinking about this as well. Moving that stuff is a pain and some of it is worn anyway.

Just think about it instead of paying and having to move your mattress, couches, dressers, kitchen table, media center, etc…you sell it before you leave, don’t have to pack it (these take up the vast majority of uhaul space) and you can buy new and have it delivered to you when you get there.
And you end up with new stuff that fits your new house/space anyway
