Looking for the best liquore stores in or near Louisville, KY. If you have other stores suggestions in the state I should check out let me know.

Best bet is to hit the gift shops at the distilleries if you want something special. Most I’ve been to have majorly inflated prices for the hard to find bottles.

For the best chance of hard to find bottles, total wine or the distillery is your best bet but that's all relative. None of the stuff you'll find there is that special. I'm partial to old town liquor on bardstown rd. They'll have some barrel picks, decent craft beers, etc. Good hunting to you

I was there this week, liquor stores are too outrageous. We had more luck at the Kroger's around town.
If you want to see some of the rarest bourbon around, check out Waterfront Wine & Spirits. They also have a bar with hard to find stuff. I got a pour of Russells 13 for $30 and EH SB for $25.
