I've wondered if God loved his earthly children more than his only begotten son. Or, did he understand fully that his only begotten son would bounce back spectacularly. And if so, is said gift really much of a sacrifice.
Of course, I'm just an earthly child and knowing the how and why of these actions are above my pay grade.
