LSU/Ole Miss Thursday Night Panty Raids

Does this still happens at LSU? I remember my Freshman year running over to the female freshman dorms the Thursday night before the game and yelling "Go To Hell Ole Miss" and the freshman girls would throw their panties out the window with their phone numbers on them. Does this still happen or some other rendition?

Yeah, my freshman year was '73 too. I ran to that dorm next to the lake got my panties.

I lived in Hatcher in 73 What about you? Do you remember food fights Ole Miss week?

That's an easy one, you throw them back and keep yelling. The girls would go crazy throwing all their panties out the window. The ones with phone numbers always turned into something more.
All the freshman have to do is get a big group of guys from your dorm and run over about 11pm at night and start yelling "Go To Hell Ole Miss", when the girls stick their heads out yell for their panties.

Old West Graham. Yeah, best food fight ever. Remember those big yeast rolls you could stick in your glass of milk and then throw it? It was really rowdy, everyone throwing their food then running out of the cafeteria fast. The workers would be very pissed.

Yeah, those dorms are a legend in my book. Do you remember the "Joker" pinball machine in Pentagon?
I still think of that pinball machine, best damn pinball machine I ever played. It was very old and broken in. You could win games for ever.

Dang, the only high tech social device we had back in '73 was Boogie Check on the LSU radio station. Every thing else was in person or by phone.

Yeah, I never streaked the Library or Quad. I did do the Great Greek Streak down Sorority row when there were about 1,500 naked students running down sorority row one night, there were also few girls butt naked as well. It was announced by the campus police that everyone could streak one more time that night then after that you would get arrested. So it was a Mardi Gras like atmosphere. Good ole times.

Yeah, probably did, there were a lot of Iranian jokes because of all the Iranian students and protesting by them to kill the Shah. There was this crazy Iranian who lived next door to me in Graham who I'm sure is a Terrorist. Now looking back he was an organizer to help bring down the Shah.
