Thought about this because of a thread on the home & garden board.

It's an LG, it's been running for years, and it cleans our clothes well. We clean the drum and the seals often and we leave the door slightly open when it's not in use. It's gentle on our clothes too, which is important because (as I'm sure S can tell you) OT ballers buy some fabrics that aren't built to sit in a top loader agitator cycle.

agreed man. we had a LG direct drive for 14 years and liked it other than the smell and mold issue in the lip so you had to wipe and clean all the time. Gave them to some friends in town and still working great.

got samsung this time and with the new tech the smell and mold issue is non exsistent.

i love having the direct steam like the new ones have both to the washer and dryer. no more little tub to fill on the dryer. I find the steam and a 3 hour cycle can clean and remove almost any thing. especially with some dawn power washer before hand sprayed on the stain.

love all the different options on cycles too.
