Maybe his best move was selecting Eric Spoelstra as his successor to coach the Heat, and then sticking with him during some tough times and heavy criticism early in his tenure.

I believe a story came out that some players came into his office and wanted to fire Spo, obvious guess for who it was is LeGm and Bosh/Wade.
He apparently lined the team up and told them “You don’t walk into my office and tell me to fire a coach. Your job is to play basketball”
Big dicked em when most Execs give in to the players.
