What in the F is going on with United?
We usually pay $300-$350 per to ticket for July travel
Anyone on here a frequent traveler to Belize?

United prices definitely up. Had to pay $1020 for round trip to Dominican Republic in June. Flying out of IAH

It's not just United. I checked on Google Flights for routes out of Austin to Belize, and American and Delta are in the same range. Between $715 and $1050 for a six day trip not over July 4.

Don't despair.
If you look at the price graph in calendar view, a five day trip July 7-July 12 starts at 479. If you fly July 8-July 13, the price jumps to 610. If you do a 5 day trip that leaves between July 10th and July 13, they're over $900.
August looks like it will be consistently cheaper, and seemingly always under $500.
Keep in mind that the cheapest pricing appears to be basic economy, so you'll have to pay for any checked bags.

It's gonna be the most expensive, high demand summer travel season ever.
Buckle up.
Buckle up.
