Game’s been around for 400 years and grown pretty consistently with typical up and downs depending on a number of factors. The long term trend line has been growth.

I believe this will be determined by the rate of inflation. There are a lot of poors that can't afford the price of a country club much less an $80 round on the weekend. As the economy goes, so goes golf.
