I totally understand the growth but no one is acknowledging the cyclical nature of this.

Early 2000’s when Tiger was dominating the PGA Tour we saw a huge growth in the popularity of golf but also the booming of new courses that were being built.

Around 2010 or so it kind of faded away and golf struggled for years.

Things have an ebb and flow to them and golf is no exception.

Nobody has argued it isn’t cyclical. The point is strannix saying golf is at a low point now is asinine. It’s at a peak right now

I agree that it could be cyclical, but the 2000s is just one cycle. Who knows if the downturn was anomaly. Also, this is why I pointed to the social media aspect, indicating more adoption by younger people. Golf is generally a game that becomes more prevalent as people go up in age. I think that's a good sign that it's a lasting boom
