House Bill 117 would require public schools to provide free tampons and pads in easily accessible locations. Charter schools are exempt from the bill. The funding for the products would come from the state’s general fund. Schools may provide the products in bathrooms, offices or other locations. The first year of funding also would include providing dispensers for products.

In all the things our tax money ends up going towards, I have no issue with this and would fully support it if Kentucky came up with this bill.

When I worked in a high school, I regularly bought period products out of my own pocket for the kids at work. The ones the school supplied were out of stock half of the time and shitty. This shouldn't be any different than providing toilet paper.

Lol, my mom used to teach in Louisina public schools. they had to check out the toilet paper to the students because they would just destroy it, piss on it, throw it all over the bathroom.

Idk, i just feel like we have way too many shitty parents. I dont have a daughter, but i damn well would make sure she had her own prodcuts to bring with her.
