I have always fed my GSD Eukanuba Lamb, in 2020 it was $50-55 for 30lb bag, since last year it has been $80-85.

Why has everyone else's dog food gone up except mine? You can look it up for yourselves. Diamond Naturals Large Breed has been from 42 to 45 dollars since I started buying it in 2014. Are they exempt?

Based on what website? I can show proof from my Amazon account if you’re disputing the price increases

Because you’re a progressive dumbass that has to lie to cover up the stupidity of your belief system.

I feed Diamond Naturals Beef & Rice and Victor Beef & Rice. Each are about $50 for 40 lbs. Thats my price point bc I have 5 large dogs and go through 40 lbs per week. I supplement by adding a tbs of Iams canned, and l, occasionally, other healthy human food treats. Hopefully these don’t skyrocket. The “better brands” aren’t really better and are $$$. Purina Pro Plan went up to about $79 and it’s crap. Once in a while, a rescue I foster for will give me a bag of Pet Smart Authority. That’s Pet Smart brand and it’s higher than what I feed! Or close enough to it, being a store brand, it’s a ridiculous cost.

People are surrendering and dumping their pets daily. Being a part of a couple of rescues, it’s horrible, and the worst I’ve ever seen. Pet food and basic preventatives / vacc should be reasonable cost, leaving the pricey stuff for sick pets, but you can’t get out under $300 for a yearly exam and vacc these days. A lower income person can indeed offer a fantastic loving home, but the costs today prevent it.
