Yep. My father-in-law when he passed in 2015.

My mother-in-law asked me to write and deliver a formal eulogy at the funeral. My job involves a lot of writing and frequent public speaking, so I guess that's why she asked me.

I wrote one up, gave it to her in advance to review and change if needed. She loved it and said not to change a thing. She said she could see Papaw (what we all called him) chuckling and smiling at the anecdotes and observations.
