I’m just trying to unload some tickets for a concert I can’t go to anymore. The concert isn’t a sellout so I really don’t expect full price. When I set the price to a price I can sell quickly it says the “venue” has set a low price limit on the resale. From what I understand they run most of the bigger amphitheaters/venues. So basically the lowest price I can resell on their site is above the supposed face value price (before the crazy fees). I hate Ticketmaster. Obviously they’re on Stubhub now.

Sucks. It means that TM is working with the venue and the artist to resell for a premium the tickets that they’ve intentionally held back. You are their competition and they can’t have you undercutting them. TM/LN are the devil.

That's so damn stupid and further proof that Ticketmaster is a racket.

They have gotten me with that a time or two also...I agree it is the dumbest thing.

Go to stubhub or seatgeek.

Update: To make things worse, the concert (with lower than expected sales) was just moved from an amphitheater to a large music hall. So now my tickets which were pretty good aisle seats are now general admission standing and are equivalent to people who bought lawn seats for half the price. I have not been offered a credit or refund.

I’d venture you should get something for that. Requesting a refund might get you that full resale price afterall
