Before your sub gets overrun by trolls, I wanted to share a little positivity and talk about how Chris Paul got me through some dark times with the bottle.

I won’t go through my whole backstory, but once I started it was hard to stop. One drink becomes two, two becomes three, and soon I’m throwing shot glasses at the bartender for cutting me off. I can’t even go to half the bars in my town because I’ve been thrown out of them all.

Anyway, a couple years ago Chris Paul said that he was sort of addicted to playing in the NBA Finals. Since he admitted to it, watching him do whatever he could to ensure he wouldn’t relapse was inspiring. Ever since then, I haven’t had one sip of alcohol. Like Chris Paul, I was determined to never go all the way again.
