Yikes. Someone needs to teach that girl not to go home if someone is following you. She would have been trapped in her garage. But the other usual advice - to head to a populated place - might not have made a difference to this crazy seeing as what happened just afterwards. I guess best bet would be to head to a police station.

Definitely a learning moment. The girl was so frightened, her first instinct was to go home.

I’ve told my wife to come home if I’m home that I’d call the police and have them waiting. If they didn’t show up in time I’d be ready to test my accuracy.
If I’m not home drive straight to nearest sheriffs office or police station and get the dispatch on the phone.
