100% do not bring your boat. Fish off the dock early in the morning if you are wanting to fish but Bruin gets so crowded during the day the fishing is really not good.

It's not crowded at all right now. The shite will hit the fan come Memorial Day.

Ok, now this is accurate.

OP, your best bet is to probably tight line off your pier at night with cold worms or cut bait. You should be able to catch some. I have seen some baws running jugs down past the state park in the little pocket on the SE end where ski boats don't go. But I'm not sure of their success rate. I strung a trot line up there one summer and caught a few.
