which books?

The Abolition of Man covers it, but it is pretty intense in the way that he writes indirectly about things and inserts a Christian message by using the concept of the Tao - he does this mainly to not scare off people who will just stop reading if they see something clearly Christian. The point of that book is mainly that if we let truth, real truth, be taken out of education and other aspects of society, man and society will basically be abolished. I'm reading it now, so I am sure I can add more later.

The Weight of Glory is a compilation of speeches or sermons that he gave, and I found that even though they were 80 years ago, several of them relate directly to now. Some also got deep into theology, which is interesting.

I also think everyone should read Mere Christianity, which came from a series of talks he did on the radio in the 40s during WWII, and he took time to write around each of the talks to build up the message more. Same as The Weight of Glory, the messages come from that time but so many of them relate directly to what we have seen happen recently.
