Mark Knopfler used a metal-body resonator guitar on "Romeo and Juliet", and it sounds straight out of the Middle Ages.
Well, just my opinion. I don't know much about the Middle Ages.

I saw him play this at LSU in 1980 at the LSU Student union theater. They turned down the lights and put a spot on the guitar. Just him there at the front of the stage, lights reflecting everywhere around the theatre. It was awesome. And man that dude can play the guitar.
