People on here(looking at you WCA) don't realize how big of a footprint that the Braves have. It basically goes from the Mississippi River to southern/eastern Kentucky & Southern W.Virginia.

The Braves' fanbase wouldn't hurt a Nashville or Charlotte expansion team.

The Braves are the dominant fan base, but there are plenty of transplants that aren't Braves fans. They will go enjoy games, even if plenty are rooting for the away team at first.

It takes most expansion teams a while (or forever for the Rays) to establish their own fans.
