don't know. This whole ordeal has gotten way more legs than I anticipated. I think it's starting to feed off itself once people realized that it actually worked for once.

NFL boycott? There is no other professional football league in town. People had no choice but to come back if they wanted to consume pro football.

Nike boycott? Nike is a behemoth with really only one quasi competitor. Adidas. Plus Nike is more of a status symbol brand than makers of exceptionally great products. Voit shoes probably aren’t all that different than Nikes. But do you want a crowd of people seeing you in Voits?

Bud Light is not remarkably different from the other hundreds of light lager beers in the market. Nor is it a status symbol (no one has ever been impressed by someone drinking BL). So now given a reason to do so, BL drinkers have found it easy to switch brands.

The key for BL is to try to create marketing that acknowledges and admits they fricked up without actually acknowledging and admitting they fricked up. Don’t be surprised to see Tom Brady, Charles Barkley, Dereck Jeter, Dave Grohl, Chuck Norris, or someone who appeals to masculinity be offered a shite load of money to become the new “face” of BL to try to wash away the image of a fruity mental case pretending to be a 17 year old girl

Problem for them is none of those people you mentioned or high profile will want their name associated with BL so good luck on that idea.
