For hotels, the Renaissance Waverly is in a perfect spot. There is a pedestrian bridge that links directly into The Battery. No need to drive and park anywhere else.
The Georgia Aquarium downtown is world-class. Recommend doing the behind-the-scenes tour. There is also the World of Coke Museum and College Football Hall of Fame, but not sure how much teenagers would enjoy.
