It sucks for him , but hat’s what the powers that be decided what to do.
My grandfather and father’s business was an independent distributor who sold Falstaff beer. When the new owner took over Falstaff he blew a bunch of smoke to all the distributors about the beer. Turns out the guy was full of shite, he eventually pissed off all the employees causing a major strike then he shut down almost all the breweries around the country.
They had to sell their rights of distribution to another company after being in business for over 40 years….
They had zero say so….
At one time, Falstaff was one of the largest beers in the country…
When they shut down the New Orleans brewery, they had security run people off the premises and weren’t even able to collect their personal belongings…
When they went in to restore the building and turn it into condos, they found stuff still dated back till the day it closed…
