I’ve heard a lot about these camera tickets in small towns recently. Are people getting these on those mobile radars set up on the side of the highway? I drive a lot and I’ve seen those set up in little towns across Louisiana pretty often recently.

I drive through Clayton all the time and I’ve never seen something that looks like a camera. Was it on 425 or 65?

It’s called remote speed enforcement. A post certified LEO runs a LiDAR gun with a plate reader camera. They can run hundreds of tickets a day instead of a few. It’s legal in LA.

I know 2 companies hitting every small town in LA. It’s a money grab.

He will be parked on the side of the road on hwy 65 going towards Waterproof. It's a manned camera. I thought it would be an unmanned remote camera at first, but that's not the case.

Same…I wouldn’t think there would be enough traffic in Clayton to mess with a traffic camera.
