i dont know about stories, but back in 2005 i saw a guy making $25 an hour get fired for stealing the toilet paper rolls from porta-pottys at the plant to take for his camp. security caught him with it in his lunch box walking out the gate at the plant.
so he lost his job for cheap arse toilet paper thats such cheap trash that its not even worth stealing if you were desperate. at least in my opinion

office manager was convinced that "the fricking mexican cleaning staff is stealing my candy" so installed cameras around the office
