The name is EGO, not Eco. They sell battery-operated products. I don't recall seeing them pretending to be an eco-type company any more than every other company. I personally prefer not fricking with gas and fumes. My mower is still gas, but my ego trimmer and blower are great. I'm looking for my gas mower to crap out so I have an excuse to replace my self-propelled mower.
