My last one rusted out due to a leak in my shed at my old house. It was 10 years old too and otherwise it still ran fine. I bought the same mower when we moved. I have a cordless battery powered drill I guess.

Cordless tools were pretty shitty for a long time until brushless and Lithium batteries came out.
I don’t believe we’ll see the dramatic improvement in battery technology from this point on though.
