I twice posted a video of a 4th-grade teacher in Louisiana admitting she initiated the conversation about being gay. Even if the vast majority aren't doing it, some are and this bill stops that.
Only a freak would think talking to young impressionable kids about being gay and sex is appropriate.
If the teacher wants to "respond" to it now they have to clue the parents in and get their permission. Again, that is a good thing.

We don't need a law for that. Just fire the teacher.
But you will saw, it's hard to fire a teacher in LA!
OK, then maybe our esteemed legislature should spend some time removing teacher protections. Give more power back to the schools to hire and fire people.
But one teacher - in testimony on the bill - said they said they were gay.
You know what... how do I say this... lots of teachers are gay. Ever seen a male theater teacher? Odds are... gay.
