A state known for legislating stupid shite goes ahead and legislates stupid shite. News at 10. You can thank GOP who doesn't understand what it means to be conservative and DNC who have pushed so hard the other way that the GOPs think its necessary.

Democrats in federal Govt including courts and in control of media and big tech have made it necessary.
We are in the realm of a state regulating the state’s curriculum in a public school system created by the state. Checking federal govt, keeping kids safe, curriculum focused on basics like biology at young ages, and teachers focused on this core education not running their own social & political experiments on children that will end up creating an increased burden on tax payers in future seems more conservative than not.
