These solar farms will turn people against solar with quickness. They are horribly inefficient. We need more energy density in south Louisiana.
There is a shortage of land here that doesn't flood. Wasting in on something that should be on top of buildings is a huge mistake.

Why not load up deserts with solar panels before ever putting them on fertile, forested lands?

Bingo plus after they “cleanup” the land when they are done with the lease that land will be useless. You won’t be able to put back into farm land the land will be ruined
