Grads of other schools also put LSU first. Let’s be honest about that. A lot of our alumni don’t. A lot of your fans mistaken loyalty to our school as disloyalty to LSU. And then get “lectured” that we somehow “owe” our support to them. To be honest, most of our fans either 1) don’t care or 2) pull for LSU on the side.

Why is it a crime to put LSU first? They represent the state of Louisiana nationally and to an extent globally. People see that tiger eye and they know it’s Louisiana.

It’s a state pride thing. People spend their whole childhood in purple and gold, then when they attend ULL they’re supposed to act like they didn’t love LSU their whole life? It’s sad. The brainwashing going on.

I’ve got news for you: aside from when an occasional thread like this pops up when LSU/ULL play in a sport, ULL, its teams, fans, and university are simply not on the minds of LSU fans…at all.

I’ve never heard a single LSU fan say a person rooting for ULL is a slight to LSU in any way. What a ridiculous statement.
