He's the starter now. Can we say we have our 2nd string QB playing since Hatch started the first game?

Was he really?

Their offensive production was really good in the first half and even the beginning of the 3rd

seems like he is the 2nds string to me

looks like he took over the duties after Hampton went out in the 5th game

he also appears to actually be better than their starter

He is third string. I thought the other guy was still starting because he was pretty solid as well. When i saw him in there, i thought it would be an easy night. But whew was i wrong.

I'm pretty sure he's a walk-on or former walk-on. He transferred without a scholarship to Troy when he couldn't win the starting job at Richmond, a I-AA school.

Technically he was listed as 3rd string at the beginning of the year. Actually probably was 2b. We had an open competition to start the spring and Jamie Hampton won. He was injured against FAU. Tanner Jones was injured against North Texas, but Levi was the starter at that point. Levi is more of a pure pocket passer, while Jamie was a dual threat at QB, but less of a passer.

I think Levi is no longer 3rd string.

Ain't a pass spread run well a pretty thing to watch?

Just need a decent QB and possession receivers.

And that pass spread killed them. It slowed down the game and gave LSU the opportunity, which it took advantage of, to get back into the game.
