Surprised mini splits are so uncommon still for installers. Seems like in larger metro areas a small guy could start a company specializing in them and do very well. It’s a very simple process for the most part.

I don’t think most are concerned with the installation, but instead any warranty work or maintenance calls. I think as they become more common in the “name brand” suppliers, people will start to utilize them more and more.
