50% of world population depends on rice for 80% of its food. 95% of global rice output is produced and consumed in developing countries. Its getting hard to argue that these people don't want massive starvation

For every item they want to BAN, you have to ask yourself, WHY ?
Rice is a long term item that can be stored, and consumed, to sustain life in SHTF scenarios.
