Why Do you Believe Miles Will Fire the DCs?

First off, I agree that the co-DCs need to go. The team is confused, not playing to their strengths and poorly prepared each week.
But everyone is assuming they are gone at the end of the year. What has Miles said or done since he got here to make you believe he will cut them loose after a horrible first year on the job?
My fear is he believes a lot of the issues relate back to a young QB not keeping the offense on the field, digs his heels in and brings them back next season. I just worry he will refuse to address the issue - he's known as one of the most loyal head coaches around to his assistants.

I don't know what he'll do but this is his first hire in 5 years that hasn't panned out; that's what leads me to believe he'll always do what's best for LSU and not drive the program into the ground out of sheer cussedness.

any competent man can see it's not working. They are done. someone will make sure of it. But there is nothing he can do now. Lsu can have anybody they want. It will not be them

It's unbelievable how well the defense usually plays in the 2nd half. It's like they dont prepare or watch tape all week and then get burned in the 1st half and wait till halftime to make these wonderful adjustments. Its simply amazing

He wont fire them but hopefully will force them to bow out gracefully.
What a disaster and it has really affected the players. Morale is really low amongst the defensive players and this is the biggest problem

B/c Alleva will tell him to. The defensive performance is not commensurate with the $3.7M paid out to the HC.
