Yep. Loser likely goes Peaching.

As long as LSU and Ole Miss both win their final games (Arkansas and Miss State), it will be tough for either to do worse than a NYD bowl.
Assuming the SEC gets 2 into the BCS, Georgia will go to the Cap One. I think the LSU/Ole Miss winner goes to the Cotton. The loser will go to the Outback. The only caveat is if Vanderbilt wins out. VU would likely get an Outback bid over Ole Miss with a better overall and conference record and a win over Ole Miss in Oxford. In that case, Ole Miss would go to the Peach.

If Carolina beats Clemson, they would probably get a Peach bid over Ole Miss. I don't see them winning at Clemson though. Of course, if Vanderbilt doesn't win out, Carolina will likely be in the Peach whether they win or lose to Clemson.

if we go to the cotton bowl, we will for sure get arse raped.

Yep, not sure it would be good for us to play someone like Mizzou in the Cotton. Our DCs just simply can't come up with anything to slow down the passing game. They may score 50 on us.

I never like to predict an LSU loss, but the Cotton Bowl would likely put us against one of the Big 12 high powered offenses - Missouri, Oklahoma, Ok St, Texas, Tx Tech, or Oklahoma. Unless we see major changes in our defense that could get ugly.

No. SC goes to Outback. LSU Ole Miss loser is in the Peach unless they take Kentucky, then its Indy bowl baby.

When the team is rested, healthy and Miles has a month to gameplan, LSU has been pretty good (dominant) in bowl games against big name programs.

The Independence Bowl will not have an SEC team this year. Given Kentucky's 2-6/3-5 conference record, UK will not get a bowl bid over LSU or Ole Miss. Even if LSU loses a game, South Carolina will not get an Outback bid over LSU.

Its not about record. Its all about getting butts in the seats. I agree that if LSU loses to Ole Miss, LSU would likely go to Peach over Kentucky.
But if LSU wins, Kentucky would probably travel better to ATL than Ole Miss.
