Actually, I was told that a kid near the band started that, and then the band started doing it. Was kind of a domino effect.

Wish I could have seen that.
Between that and the Rally Thread there was no way we could lose.

From the south EZ we could not decide if the students were calling for the angels in the EZ or for us to throw it to Byrd. Then they were doing it when he wasnt on the field so we figured it out.

This is the full story....So we are losing 31-3 in the 3rd quarter. Im in the drumline, and we look over and this kid is flappin his angel wings just like in angels in the outfield. Immediately the band starts doing it. Not long after, the maybe 10,000 real fans that were still there begin doing it. Next thing you know we score 37 unanswered points and win. It was incredible.

LSU student section modeled the angel flapping that the whole stadium made in Angels in the Outfield, and most of the stadium followed with it. It went on during pretty much all of LSU's comeback.

its a shame so few people experienced it. We got a picture of the kid and we are going to try to get the story in the Reville. I have seen a few crazy games in my 3 years in band, but this one takes the cake.
