In this before someone says "traffic moves so much better now".

Yeah, because so much has just moved to other streets. Hooray for moving deck chairs around on the Titanic!

That was the stated goal so I’m not sure why people are surprised.

I don’t have a problem with Government St. and I travel on it everyday. The traffic isn’t bad comparably and the intent of the redesign was to make the whole area more business friendly given the absurd amount of money living around there.

And the redesign doesn’t even crack the top 10 of BR traffic problems.

That was their goal.

Now they will need full time maintenance to fix the medians and they will need landscapers year round.
