Is it possible that this is all intentional, to drive stock prices down, so a small group of people can buy up AB stocks on the cheap and rebrand?

Remember New Coke? Not that it has anything to do with what you're saying but it was a brilliant marketing campaign.
There's always an angle. It wouldn't surprise me at all if this shite was done intentionally for marketing reasons, that right now escape us.
I find it hard to believe this shite was done on a whim. Globo-corporations dump millions into market research before they do shite like this.
There's an angle for sure and soon, it'll reveal itself.

If AB were still a smaller corporation, perhaps. But they have been owned by InBev since around 2009 and InBev is way too damn big to be playing a stock scam like this.
Not impossible to do, but more money in play than if it was a smaller corporation.
