Nonsense. The biggest problem with that show, in this regard, is that they killed off Battlestar, a black hero from the comics, for no reason whatsoever. This makes the racist race swapping of other characters even worse.
There are problems with the black super soldier character that don't make a whole lot of sense story-wise, but those don't really have anything to do with his race.
