Sun Patio Roof Question

My house has a screened-in sun patio with a flat metal roof. I don’t know why anyone would have made the roof for it flat. The rain ponds and somehow is getting through the metal roof and has ruined the 6 ceiling fans. The house has gutters of course, but not around the roof of the sun patio. Any suggestions on what I could do to the flat roof to keep water away?

insurance companies HATE FLAT roofs. Even if its just 2% of the house w a flat roof.

You need to take off the metal, replace any rotten decking and framing, then lay a modified bitumen system (torch down), over the area. Problem solved.

couldn't he reframe the roofline into the roof of the home? I'd get rid of the "flat roof" on my home imo.
