It's still addictive nicotine, still an irritant to your mouth and throat, and they have additives and chemicals in them that cured and dried tobacco doesnt have. Anecdotally, they always give me heart burn and nausea which I never get with dip or pouches.
nicotine, while addictive, doesn't cause cancer. tobacco does, really not much to it

It doesn’t cause cancer, but nicotine is a very potent vasoconstrictor and cause strokes and heart attacks.
