Most of the analysts are talking about how she scored 15pts in the 4th but she also limited Clark to 5pts!

Not taking anything away from what Morris did, but Clark having 4 fouls in the 4th prevented her from trying to drive to the basket.

That's true, and it also meant Alexis was able to suffocate her knowing that if Clark breathed wrong she would get fouled out. All game Clark was being suffocated by Alexis, and she got away with quit a few push offs. You can't risk a push off with 4 fouls when your down 10+ and you account for 50% of your teams scoring. Alexis was the cause of most of Clark's fouls by pressing the frick out of her.

Actually it was Lex's style of defense on Clark. Clark is uncomfortable going right and Lex became more aggressive making Clark cross over to her right. Diana Taurasi spoke about it on their show and LSU obviously had it in their game plan. The whole 4th quarter Clark was uncomfortable.

Sure you are. Didn't either Clark's 3rd or 4th foul come offensively against Morris?

In any event, Iowa was mostly looking for 3s, not 2s, to get back into it by that point.
