Well, the other issue I usually see is that these dead spots are breeding grounds for the worst weed issues I have. Crabgrass often takes over before the turf fills in. It’s a pretty big frustration for me. This year, I’ve been trying to burn off the thatch but haven’t had much luck. Some of my spots are lower, but not what I’d call “wet.” They drain ok. I can’t really make any rhyme or reason as to what’s causing it.
