Dude made a couple hits and dipped from the music scene. Lives a normal life with his family, can go to restaurants or grocery without being recognized/harassed, still makes a ton of money off royalties from few hits, and is beloved by his fans. I wouldn't want to be a mega star.

This is a great answer. He is living life like a normal person. However, he has had his share of rock star life in the past, although on a smaller scale obviously. But enough to cause him some problems in the past.
