You may ultimately be right but I definitely read all of Tom’s actions as still loving shiv and desperate for her to love him back. The whole call her for being out with Ken’s ex was the first sign. If he was over her, he wouldn’t give two shits if she found out he was trying to gloat while also trying to display he was moving on.

He wanted to talk everything out and offers to make love to her, not frick her. I most definitely read it as him still loving her. Could be a wrong for sure.

The call to her is because he has been trying to preserve at least being legally married because he is worried about his position with Logan if he and shiv divorce. Hence his nervous conversation with Logan broaching the subject.

He doesn’t love about her but he doesn’t want to be openly antagonistic to her and spur along the issue
