The good people in the black community (which is by far and large the majority), need to stand up to this ignorance that plagues their community.

“Hip Hop” culture / “Hood” culture, or whatever you want to call it is absolute buffoonery. Pure stupidity.

It promotes and encourages physical violence like this as if it is a thing of honor, and until the black community decides to stand up against it, things will never change.

100%, but those who try to stand against it and apply common sense and civility get shouted down by the vocal minority. It’s going on in all phases of society.
