If you don't want to see gay people in movies, don't see sequels to movies with gay people in them. You're just looking to be pissed at something.

Was the character being gay a central part of his storyline, and was that storyline a central part of the movie?
Having gay people simply exist in a movie doesn't mean the movie is automatically woke, imo.

There are 2 billion moslems and over a billion Africans, over a billion Indians and a over a billion Chinese. I'm guessing if movies were populated 25% by moslems, and all these other ethnicities in "proper" proportion, you would call that woke too.
Just say what you mean: since you're straight and white, that's what you want it to be, regardless of the numbers.
